These drains were abundant throughout the yard. Although they may have provided relief at some time, they became ineffective and were a safe haven for pests. We will correct the grade around the house to provide proper drainage away from the structure, and ditch the French.
Looks like Jake the snake left a skin while chasing rats through the drains.
