inHere you can see the original window sizes in the unpainted area where the window trim would have been. As the house was transformed from a dogtrot cabin (C. 1866) into a 2 story Victorian (Late 1800’s), taller windows were added; near 2:1 ratio as common in Victorian period homes. The front dogtrot doors were about 6″ shorter as seen in trim details of the door photo.
